HEMAMA Children at Play

The Heather May – Mashood Abiola Children’s Resource Centre (HEMAMA), is a Children's Resource Centre with the aim of serving the community of Kima, Kenya with a children’s library and feeding program.
To upgrade the education level among children and vulnerable children in the community and the district as a whole and to encourage reading culture.
The Heather May – Mashood Abiola Children’s Resource Centre (HEMAMA), started off with the prayerful wish of a native Kenyan woman and the support of two Nurses, Ruth and Michael. As a result of this small step of faith, currently 200 children in the Kima area are enjoying and being ministered too at HEMAMA. The feeding program is helping ease the hunger pangs of 50 vulnerable children and a sponsorship program has been initiated to help meet the basic needs of a child.
The HEMAMA Resource Centre is inclusive of children’s books, education, activities, worship, Bible study and a vulnerable child’s feeding program.
